There is nothing quite like waking up to the sound of the Atlantic Ocean, stepping out onto your balcony, and seeing nothing but water stretching out in front of you, and that is exactly why so many travelers search for the top oceanfront hotels in Myrtle Beach when planning their trip. With so many places to stay along the Grand Strand, it can be hard to know which hotels actually deliver that true beachfront experience and which ones fall short.
After living in Myrtle Beach for over 7 years, I’ve had the chance to experience just about every type of stay along the coastline, from luxury resorts to more budget-friendly beachfront hotels, and one thing quickly becomes clear, not all oceanfront hotels are created equal. Some offer unbeatable views, space, and amenities, while others may look good online but don’t quite live up to expectations once you arrive.
This guide focuses only on the top oceanfront hotels in Myrtle Beach, meaning every hotel listed here sits directly on the beach with true oceanfront views and easy access to the sand. Each property has been selected based on guest ratings, location, and overall experience, so you can book with confidence and find the stay that fits your trip the best.
